[title]Book Testimonials[/title] [one_half][testimonial img=”http://colleenpatrice.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/deedee.jpg” company=”Therapist” url=”http://www.deedeewoodmanlpc.com/” person=”Dee Dee Woodman M.Ed.,LPC”] As a therapist in private practice for over 16 years, specializing in Trauma Recovery, I have found the EMDR Journal to be a wonderful tool that promotes healing, insight, empowerment and freedom. It is especially useful for clients who may have a difficult time accessing their feelings and emotions. The EMDR Journal provides a helpful and informative overview of what to expect in EMDR therapy, and some valuable information about Trauma and Recovery in general.

My clients have been able to achieve even greater results in their EMDR therapy because of the guidance the journal provides. The EMDR Journal is well laid out and promotes deeper self-reflection and understanding. The client is then able to do more effective after-session processing and be better prepared for their next session.

I highly recommend this journal to other EMDR therapists who desire to do deeper, more effective work with their clients.

The EMDR Journal kept me grounded and guided me through my healing during between-session processing. I was able to keep honest track of my progress, and found inspiration in reading about Colleen’s experience with EMDR, and how it changed her life. I am happy to say that I am on the road to recovery; happier than I’ve felt in years. I wouldn’t be here today without EMDR Therapy and the EMDR Journal. I would recommend this book to everyone considering EMDR Therapy as a tool for overcoming the devastating effects of trauma.

Colleen Patrice’s healing path consciously began 20 years ago when she was blessed with a serendipitous swim with wild dolphins off the coast of Southern California. From that moment, she was called to study and contemplate our spiritual nature. Many challenges appeared as her life unfolded, forcing her to either sink or swim.  As a result of her persistent efforts (and EMDR therapy), she has experienced a deep and miraculous healing in her life.  You can learn more about Colleen’s story in the  EMDR Journal page of this site. Colleen’s life’s work is dedicated to nurturing love, optimal health, and authentic happiness within herself and others.
